WE VE MET BEFORE monoprint

“We ‘ve met before haven’t we” monoprint is created to pay homage to David Lynch.  It is a well-known and chilling line from David Lynch’s 1997 film Lost Highway, spoken by the Mystery Man to the protagonist, Fred Madison.

The monoprint was created by applying the monotype printing process on a gel plate. For that purpose Nikoletta designed and hand-cut the lettering stencil.

The print is signed on the back by the artist.
